If you are using 2011:

1. left-click ArcaVir icon on the taskbar

a) in the main window of ArcaVir go to “settings” and “other settings”
b) enter bookmark “notifications”
c) fill out the notification sender field:

•     from (optional): “from whom- name” Email:”from whom: email”

d) fill out the notification recipient field:

•     to “whom- name” Email: “whom- email”

e) fill out the notification subject field
f) fill out SMTP server address field address outgoing mail server (SMTP) e.g. “smtp.address.:587”
g) we only need to fill out the fields for server authorization if we must confirm user and password in order to send e-mail
h) confirm by pressing “ok” button twice.
