1. First download the program UDP_test:
http://www.arcabit.pl/DWT/Utils/udp_test.exe
and check what message will appear, if Time Out, it means that there is a firewall in the system or on the server that blocks the connection to our server. You need to unlock the traffic for our program on TCP 80 and UDP 2000 ports.
2. Is the connection executed via proxy server? If it is so, enter to program settings proper parameters:
a) If you use ArcaVir 2010, run the main program window and select „Settings ->Update->Server->Proxy Server”
b) If you use ArcaVir 98Me2000, run the main program window and select “Options-> Update->Server->Proxy Server”
3. If still there is a problem with the update, please contact us via email support@arcabit.com:
a) if you use ArcaVir 2010 please send the ARCAUPDATE.TXT file from the directory (by default):
"C:\Program Files\ArcaBit\ArcaUpdate\exec"
b) If you use ArcaVir 98Me2000 please send the LOG.TXT file from the directory (by default):
"C:\Program Files\ArcaBit\ArcaUpdate"
and the configuration file: "update.xml", that for both versions is located in the directory (by default):
"C:\Program Files\ArcaBit\ConfigurationXml\Global"
Please also give the licence number of our program and accurate information on whom the program was purchased.
The update problem
