To resolve the problem, you should:
- in the Mail Scanner leave ticked encrypted connections scanning
- in the mail program reorder the connections types from encrypted to unencrypted
- Change the incoming mail POP3 port from 110 to 9995
- Change the outgoing mail SMTP port from 25 to 9465
After the execution of the aforementioned points, everything should work without any trouble - encrypted connections will be implemented. It is recommended to restart the computer after the entire operation.
