The whole new range of products giving the warranty of the system security - ArcaVir 2006, created in the programming laboratories of ArcaBit Sp. o.o. company, has been launched on the market. The package is offered in two basic versions:

ArcaVir 2006 Antivirus Protection

The antivirus package including all the indispensable modules used to protect the system against infections:

• ArcaScan - antivirus scanner allowing a simple scanning of all the computer resources.
• ArcaMon - antivirus monitor continuously controlling the system activity and blocking dangerous objects.
• ArcaMail - mail scanner controlling incoming and outgoing e-mail.
• ArcaQuar - quarantine secure storage of infected objects or objects suspected of being infected.

ArcaVir 2006 System Protection

The complete protection package for demanding users, giving the warranty of the comprehensive security of the networked system , including:

• Modules of antivirus protection included in the Anvivirus Protection (ArcaScan, ArcaMon, ArcaMail, ArcaQuar) package.
• ArcaFirewall - firewall protecting the system against attacks from the network.
• ArcaRegMon - registry monitor continuously looking for changes in the registry keys crucial for the system operation.
• ArcaCheck - module allowing a rapid system control in search of infections without the necessity of scanning all the computer resources.

  

• ArcaRD - module for searching and neutralizing objects of the RootKit type in the system.
• ArcaAntiSpam - antispam module responsible for the security of electronic mailboxes.

ArcaVir 2006 operates on the basis of the modern antivirus engine - ArcaEngine, including one the most comprehensive collections of definitions of viruses, Trojan horses and Internet worms in the world.

The security of the user is also under control of the ArcaAntiXWare module protecting the system against objects of the spyware and adware type. The detection of new, unknown viruses, worms and Trojans is the task of advanced heuristic mechanisms, also constituting one of the strengths of the ArcaVir 2006 packages.

An additional asset of the package are tools allowing to analyze the system condition:

• ArcaDump - the module generating reports on the system condition.

  

• Process Manager allowing a rapid control of applications currently running in the system.
• A useful mechanism of logging events, allowing a continuous tracking of the package operation.

One of the ArcaVir 2006 features is also a very simple and at the same time comprehensive configuration, easy to use both for advanced and inexperienced users.

The CD included with the full program version allows to start the computer from the level of Arcanix OS and scan all the drives with the help of a special version of ArcaVir.
