A Romanian citizen was arrested in USA. Laurentiu Bulat played a primary role in a gang that have stolen money from ATMs. He installed skimming devices on 40 ATMs belonging to HSBC bank, stealing at least USD 1,5 million. He was arrested when caught on camera during installation one of such devices.
He is charged with one count of bank fraud and one count of conspiracy to commit fraud. He faces up to 60 years in prison.
