Adobe publishes Reader and Acrobat patches

Adobe published a set of patches for Reader and Acrobat software for Windows and Macintosh platforms. It contains six critical patches. Both applications were upgraded to version 10.1.2 and, in cases where such update was impossible, to version 9.5.
Besides security fixes a new functionality was added. It decides whether JavaScript code in PDF file can be executed based on file location. An administrator can turn off JavaScript execution in PDF files.
