Highly critical flaws were found in Final Draft 8.x. Vulnerabilities are due to errors when parsing certain tags within script files. It can be exploited to cause buffer overflow error via overly long data strings.
A successful attack allows to launch arbitrary code.
Flaws were found in versions prior to 8.02. Users should upgrade to 8.02.
