An extremely critical flaw was found in Adobe Acrobat 9.x, Acrobat X 10.x, Reader 9.x and Reader X 10.x. The vulnerability is due to an unspecified error when processing U3D data. No other details were released.
Cybercriminals are actively exploit the flaw.
The vulnerability affects mainly Windows and Macintosh users but Reader 9.x for Unix is vulnerable also.
Users should not open PDF files from untrusted sources. This week Adobe will publish a patch.
