A patches for open source IPFire 2.11 fireall were published. Patch Core 54 contains new Intel network drivers, updated version of Squid proxy server, smartmontools package and Snort network intrusion prevention system. Also a syntax error in DHCP script was fixed as well as a problem in H.323 module that prevented it to load when system starts.
Core 55 update consists of updated OpenSSL packet that fixes six vulnerabilities and OpenSSH upgraded to version 5.9pl.
